Don't be surprised with Mongolian harsh climate

Ulaanbaatar is the coldest capital in the world. Average temperature during a year is -2°C. Seeing here on winter -40°C on thermometer is nothing special. That’s why Mongolians use alcohol thermometers — ones with mercury simply break below -38°C.

On the other hand on summer temperature reaches here more than 30°C. No matter which season one is certain — it’s very dry. Rains occur seldom and usually between June and August.
